Meanwhile, a minor was lost their life in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, as reported by local officials.

Moscow has intensified strikes on power infrastructure over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "concrete actions" from international partners to apply pressure on Russia.

"The necessity is not window dressing but firm measures - from the US, Europe and the G7 - in supplying protection systems and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty projectiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to repair systems.

A wave of strikes struck electrical systems and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Multiple people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, per statements from city authorities.
